Soccer comes into season yet again; pre-season, drafting, and pre-season games are already underway!

Surf fans, the Surf soccer world is getting roudy for this new season quickly approaching. New draft picks hope to give the team new and fresh hopes in the future. The new Surf uniforms are coming in from Nike one by one, and members coming in black outfits (the old uniforms) are beginning to grow few; the new grey uniforms are beginning to outrun them! 

Here are the picks from the draft last month and who has left the team since last season: 

New members: William, Edward, Jack, Logan, Rhett, Oliver (Known as "Olive"), Felipe, and Wyatt

Leaving the team: Adam, Adam, Jack, Dylan, Josh, Duffy, Jacob, Amir, Noah, Ethan, and Landon

Even the pre-season is underway!

A few days ago, Surf played their second *more official* scrimmage against the better Vaqueros team. We didn’t win, but the team wasn’t focused on winning. In fact, I’m not even going to state the score. This scrimmage was about team skill, so that when winning counts a lot more, the team will have figured out their team skills the team has been working on all during the pre-season. After all, the whole last season practice was focused on technical work. Now that Surf has new recruits, the scrimmage was a great oppurtunity to improve togetherness and team ability. It was a great game! (=
