Today’s game: MAN, just didn’t go our way…or did it?

Unfortunately, all the games this week are cancelled due to rain…

Oh, wait! It has been rescheduled for Nov. 4, 2023! So this game was a reschedule and a pressure-ful game, ending the official season for NPL league. Can we pull out today’s game? Read on:

Player of the match: Juan, most opportunities in this exciting, but sad, game

Goal Scorer(s): N/A

Funny of the match: I (Simon) made a perfect kick of the ball when it went out of bounds twice, almost right into the parking lot 

1st Half

The game was a disgrace. We have been having a rough time in the NPL league. The team we were playing was not very good, but this whole weekend has been rough for us. They got a pentalty and got a goal, then a few other goals gave them a cushion and a lead, 0-5 in the first half.

Coach said that we need to stick to someone. This is not a sweet game. We have to barrel people over. 

2nd Half

I don’t like writing much about games we were crushed in, because these are the games that people need to forget about, and move on. This game is past us, but here are a few highlights from the game:

1. Juan almost made 2 shots, but they were just over both times

2. Dylan missed a wide open shot on goal, and in the next game does as well

3. I got three fouls, and almost got a yellow card

4. Landon, Noah, and a few others passed and had many chances, as voach said, “You have more chances than them!”

5. The other team, FC Dallas, was not a very great team, we just seemed afraid of them

6. The game ended a sad loss:

0-8, Surf looses. UGH!

We did not play well this season. This league was a huge match us for us, especially now that the team is just being put together. But coach Calum said in the first Winter practice, “We are going to improve technically during the Winter Soccer season.”
