About The Writer

Hi, I'm Simon! I currently play for Surf Soccer, but I used to be with Evolution under Coach Calum. I'm passionate about both writing and soccer, so I decided to combine them with this website where you can read weekly updates!

Our Evolution team was fantastic, but things changed when Coach Calum and a few other coaches moved to Surf. Some players followed, while others didn't, which split the team in two. I chose to go with Coach Calum because he's an outstanding coach who knows how to challenge us just enough.

Along with me, several friends joined Surf: Jacob, Ian, Landon, Jack, Adam, Kai, Ethan, Amir, Asher, Josh, Duffy, and a few others. We rounded out the team with a few new players who came through try-outs in early October 2023. Now, we're coming together, learning each other's styles, and striving to become better players both on and off the field. Cheers to Surf; cheers to soccer!
